General

What is Success Stories?

Success Stories is a GTM enablement app for finding, sharing, and maintaining customer proof points.

Who should use this app?
  • Sellers and SEs who need credible customer proof in live deals.
  • Contributors who capture and submit stories.
  • Admins who maintain publishing quality and program health.
What is the fastest way to get value?

Start in the story library (/), filter for your segment and persona, open 2-3 strong matches, and reuse talking points plus one quantifiable metric.

What is different between public and signed-in experience?
  • Public users can browse published stories and Ask from published content.
  • Signed-in users can contribute drafts, bookmark, use collections, and access internal workflows.

Access and Accounts

How do I sign in?

Use Google sign-in from the login page. Access is intended for approved workspace domains.

Where can I update my profile?

Go to /settings to update display name and review role details.

How do I become an admin?

Ask an existing admin to grant admin permissions.

Why do I not see admin pages?

Your account likely does not have the admin role yet, or session state is stale. Re-sign in and confirm your role in /settings.

Story Library and Search

How do I find relevant stories quickly?

Use search plus 2-3 high-signal filters: industry, persona, play type, objection, and result metric.

Should I use text search or filters first?

Use filters first for structural match, then text search to refine by language or customer details.

What does "Deal match" sorting mean?

It prioritizes stories based on relevance to selected context instead of simple recency.

How should I use bookmarks vs collections?
  • Bookmarks: quick personal saves.
  • Collections: curated sets for repeatable deal motions.
How do I share a story externally?

Open the story page (/stories/[slug]), copy the link and supporting snippets, and ensure phrasing is external-safe.

Ask (AI Search)

What does Ask use as source data?

Ask is grounded in published stories. It does not use unpublished drafts as the main retrieval set.

How do I write better Ask prompts?

Include segment context, persona/stage, and desired output format.

Can I trust Ask output without opening stories?

No. Treat Ask as acceleration. Always validate metrics and quotes in source stories.

Why are Ask results sometimes too broad?

Prompts are likely under-specified. Add filters like industry, stage, persona, and target objection.

Contributor Workflows

Should I use manual editor or interview flow?
  • Use manual editor (/my/stories/new) when source material is already structured.
  • Use interview/import (/my/stories/interview) when starting from calls, transcripts, or recordings.
What status should my story be in before review?

Move to pending review only after narrative and metrics are substantially complete.

What narrative structure is expected?

About -> Problem -> Solution -> Results, with clear evidence and attribution.

What makes a story publishable?
  • Coherent narrative structure.
  • Specific outcomes with context.
  • Attributable quote(s).
  • External-safe wording.
Can I upload call audio or transcript?

Yes. The interview page supports both audio and transcript import to pre-fill draft stories for review and refinement.

Admin and Governance

What should admins do daily?

Check digest, clear pending review, and triage stale stories or high-priority coverage gaps.

Where do admins review stories?

/admin/stories is the review and publishing hub.

What should block publication?
  • Weak or incomplete narrative.
  • Unverifiable metrics.
  • Missing attribution.
  • Internal-only language in public fields.
What are coverage gaps?

Dimensions with low or zero published-story count (for example: industry, deal stage, objection, and play type).

What does the impact dashboard track?

Signals like influenced revenue, shares, views, feedback, trend movement, and top story impact.

What is metric key backfill?

An admin tool to normalize metrics to canonical keys so filtering and reporting work consistently.

What is a good operating cadence?
  • Daily: digest plus pending review.
  • Weekly: usage and impact scan.
  • Monthly: coverage-gap planning and refresh cycle.
